We chanced church this morning. It went well...I didn't see anyone hacking or throwing up, so we should be in the clear. Dakin even got to participate in the Nursery lesson--the sweet girl in charge of Nursery brought the other little boy who was in Nursery into the Primary room and we had a little lesson, followed by coloring (Dakin was hooked after that. :) )
I was reminded again this morning how lucky we are to have the church family we do. The kiddos all know Dakin, and are concerned for him, and try to include him. One of the little girls was worried because I had laid him on the floor to relax--she wanted to help him, but one of the leaders let her know he was ok, and it's better not to touch him. So sweet, these kiddos are. We are truly lucky.

Here's our sweet little one. He is an inspiration and a joy to us every day. His courage is astonishing.

Glad the church family is supportive. When he is in Primary someone can be called to specifically sit with and help him. This has worked wonders for us. Laneah loves the sister in our ward who helps her. It's made life so much better for us. Happy Sunday!

It has been nearly a year since we were able to attend church and our church doesn't seem to know we even exist anymore.

Thank you so much for thinking of our sweet little Nora. We love to hear that people are visiting our blog. And, of course we know who you are. At first there seemed to be so many SMA families, but as we move along, there really are not that many of us. I am glad to hear that Dakin is doing well, RSV is a bear. We are on the mend and for the most part Nora is back to her usual self.

Oh those nursery kids are so sweet. They do the same thing with Jonas. Well actually they just get really close to his face and stare. I'm so glad that Dakin enjoyed coloring at church. That's my favorite!!

Oh I can just picture his little nursery friend wanting to help him. SO sweet. It is so comforting to have the gospel, isn't it, and the church family who are truly there for you. I'm glad you have that too :)
